Premix production has two processes: a weighing system and a mixing system. Hexie Machinery Design understands that ingredient properties, such as bulk density, adhesion, and hygroscopicity, play a role in the effectiveness of metering and mixing processes. Whether your ingredients are solids, liquids or pastes, we can help you determine the appropriate size of weighing and mixing equipment.
Weighing system:
Hexie's batching system will feed raw materials via screw conveyors into weighing hoppers equipped with precision load cells to achieve the required nutrient level ratio. Accurate and reliable solid and liquid additive systems will prevent the loss of valuable raw materials.
Mixing system:
Hexie's mixers offer many features: hygienic design, food industry use and optional load cells. The paddle design ensures high mixing efficiency and uniform distribution of essential nutrients, vitamins and minerals in the granular mixture. During the mixing process, other liquids and oils will be added and mixed.

The Hexie micro-dosing system is used for precise batching and weighing of micro-ingredients (up to 150 kg per batch). Each raw material can be fed individually into the weighing hopper.
